These weapon lights are made of aluminum, making them very lightweight. They are powered by two CR123 batteries (not included) and attach via Picatinny rail.
This weapon light is easy to use; the light switch is located right next to the trigger guard, making it intuitive and fast to activate. The CREE-XPG-R5 LED used in this unit gives out an impressive 600 lumens at the flick of the switch.
The X300V model also has a strobe function. This is selected by twisting the bezel of the weapon light, which will make the light flash quickly when activated, disorienting anyone down range.
